Delicious chocolate chip cookies, but with a fantastic toffee bit crunch!
- 2-1/4 c. ﬂour
- 1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
3 handfuls quick cooking oats
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening (Crisco)
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 t. water
1 t. vanilla
1 (12 oz) package milk chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) package Toffee Bits
Preheat oven to 350˚F.
1. Mix ﬂour, baking soda, salt and oats together. Set aside.
2. In mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening, sugars, vanilla, eggs & water together. Mix until light and ﬂuffy.
3. Add ﬂour mixture, chocolate chips and toffee bit. Mix until just combined.
4. Drop onto parchment lined baking sheets.
Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies
